VB 440-APPLIANCE

The VB440-Appliance is a groundbreaking product designed to monitor and analyze high bitrate broadcast media traffic as defined by SMPTE 2110 and 2022-6 in core broadcast networks, production studios, master control centers, broadcast vehicles, and venues. Furthermore, it supports JPEG-XS lightweight compression for analysis with optional licensing and is fully compatible with NMOS. With dual 100Gb Ethernet connections capable of monitoring streams up to 80Gbps, it provides state-of-the-art analytics across all monitored streams, including network timing, video and HDR color metering, audio meters, and ancillary data. Redundancy as defined by SMPTE 2022-7 can be monitored via an intuitive side-by-side path delay display when connected to both primary and secondary networks. Ancillary data analysis offers engineering views for captions, subtitles, SCTE104 ad insertion messages, and many other types of ANC data.
